Something about me

Sorglose Nacht is the blog of Paul Tulipana.

I am currently preparing to return to my doctoral studies in philosophy, after a four-year hiatus in which I developed some neurophysiological/biomedical hardware and software with an entrepeneur I met at the European Graduate School.

My academic interest is in attempts to develop ethico- ontological frameworks, starting with German Idealism, and particularly in the Hegelian attempt.

My professional interest is in ethical computing practices, which I blog with my partner Nick Senske at BlogLESS. Here I am on LinkedIn, Delicious, and Twitter.

I also like playing music, running, esoteric programming languages, and Modernist literature.

Colophon

Both Sorglose Nacht and "Silence, I know you by hearsay," are references to Blanchot.

"Die sorglose Nacht, the careless night, when that which cannot awaken keeps watch." (The Writing of the Disaster, 50)
